Cookie Policy

What Bloopr keeps on your device, and how to change your answer.

Version 1.0 ยท In force from 3 November 2026

The short version

Bloopr does not use advertising or tracking cookies. What is kept on your device is there to make the app work and to remember how you like it.

What is kept

  • Sign-in โ€” a token held in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits. Without it, you would be asked to sign in on every page.
  • Your display settings โ€” the theme, text size and motion choices you make, kept on the device you make them on.
  • Your answer to the banner โ€” which kinds of storage you agreed to, when, and against which version of this policy.

Nothing is used to follow you across other sites, and nothing is shared with advertisers.

Third-party content

Poster artwork and some detail lookups are fetched from The Movie Database, Wikipedia and the app's own file storage. Those requests carry the title being looked up, not your account. Following an offer link takes you to a marketplace, which sets its own cookies under its own policy once you arrive.

What each answer means

Essential only and Accept all keep the same things on your device today, because Bloopr has no optional, advertising or tracking storage to turn on or off. The sign-in token, your display settings and the record of this answer are all needed for the app to work as described, so neither answer removes them. If optional storage is ever added, it will be listed here and kept on the optional side of that answer.

Changing your answer

Answer the banner the next time it appears, or open Settings and choose Ask me again to bring it back. To clear everything, delete the site's data in your browser's settings: you will be asked to sign in again and your preferences will return to their defaults.
