Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and Wilde Studios Ltd for the use of Bloopr.
Version 1.0 · In force from 3 November 2026
Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using Bloopr you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.
Your account
- An account is needed to keep a shelf, and one account is for one person.
- Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens through your account.
- You must be 13 or older.
- You may close your account at any time, which deletes the shelf, wishlist and community content held against it.
What the app does
Bloopr catalogues a physical collection, identifies titles from photographs, looks up artwork, credits and market values from public sources, keeps a wishlist with price checks, and offers a randomiser, a quiz, achievements and a community section.
Using it fairly
- Do not use the app unlawfully, or in a way that infringes anyone's rights.
- Do not scrape it, resell it, or work around its limits, its security or its access controls.
- Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene, deceptive, or that infringes copyright or trade marks.
- Do not upload photographs of anything other than your own collection.
- Do not present yourself as another member, or as Wilde Studios Ltd.
Content that breaks these rules may be hidden or removed, and an account that keeps breaking them may be closed.
Community
Reviews, discussions and replies are your own words. They are checked against the rules, and any member may report something that looks wrong. Opinions posted by members are theirs, not ours.
Your content
What you write and photograph stays yours. You give Wilde Studios Ltd permission to store it, to show it back to you, and to show it to the members you have chosen to share it with. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
Our content
The app itself, its name, its mark and its code belong to Wilde Studios Ltd. Poster artwork, credits and running times come from The Movie Database and Wikipedia and remain the property of their owners. They are shown so that a title can be recognised.
Values, ratings and offers
Market values, public ratings and shop offers are gathered from public sources and are estimates only. They are not a valuation, a guarantee that a disc will sell for a figure, or advice. Prices shown at a marketplace are that marketplace's, and any purchase is between you and them.
Paying for access
Bloopr sells one thing: the Bloopr Founding Supporter, a single £29.00 payment that unlocks premium access to the app. It is not a subscription. Nothing renews, no card is charged again, and there is nothing to cancel.
- What it unlocks. Premium access covers the quiz, the Randomiser, achievements and an estimated value for your collection, as those features stand now and as they change while the app runs.
- What stays free. Cataloguing a collection, scanning a photograph, the wishlist and the community section do not need the purchase.
- The film fund. A gift to the Bloopr Independent Film Fund is optional and separate. It is charged as its own line, giving changes nothing about your access, and it is recorded apart from the purchase.
- One account. The purchase belongs to the account it was made for.
Card details are entered on the payment provider's own checkout page and are handled by the provider. Questions about a refund, or about what happens to your access if the service closes, go to the contact page.
Availability and change
The app is provided as it stands, and features may be added, changed or withdrawn. Maintenance, faults and third-party outages may interrupt it. Significant changes are announced in the app.
Ending access
You may stop using the app at any time. Access may be suspended or ended if these terms are broken, if the app is misused, or if continuing would put the service or other members at risk.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, Wilde Studios Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data caused by something outside its control, or for any decision taken on the strength of a market value or an offer shown in the app. Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
